These terms explain the rules for using Wood Lock. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.
Acceptance of these terms
By downloading, installing or using Wood Lock ("the app"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Licence to use the app
Code Stack Studio grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to download and use the app on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial entertainment, in line with these terms and the Google Play Terms of Service.
Coins and virtual items
- Coins, hints, undos, skins, boards, carvings, effects and other in-game items ("virtual items") are earned inside the game and have no real-world monetary value.
- Virtual items cannot be sold, transferred, exchanged for money or redeemed for anything outside the app.
- You receive a limited licence to use virtual items in the app; you do not own them. We may change prices, rewards or items to keep the game balanced.
- Virtual items may be lost if you uninstall the app or clear its data without using cloud save.
Purchases
The app currently has no real-money purchases. If purchases are offered in the future, they will be processed by Google Play under its terms and refund policies, and these terms will be updated.
Advertising
The app is free and supported by ads provided by Google AdMob. Rewarded videos are optional. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or for products and services they promote.
Puzzles you create
Puzzles you make in the Workshop are yours to play and share. Please don't use puzzle names to share offensive or unlawful content. Shared puzzle codes contain only the positions of the blocks.
Third-party services
Some features rely on third-party services, including Google AdMob, Google Play Games Services and Google Play. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their availability or behaviour.
Fair play and acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, modify, decompile, reverse engineer or create derivative works of the app, except where the law allows it;
- use cheats, bots, modified versions or exploits to gain an advantage, manipulate leaderboards or obtain virtual items;
- interfere with ads, security features or the normal operation of the app;
- use the app for any unlawful purpose.
We may reset scores, remove virtual items or suspend access if these rules are broken.
Intellectual property
The app and all its content — including levels, artwork, wood textures, sounds, text, logos and the "Wood Lock" name — are owned by or licensed to Code Stack Studio and are protected by intellectual property laws. Klotski is a traditional puzzle; our specific levels, designs and presentation are our own work.
Updates and availability
We may update, change or discontinue features, levels or the app at any time, and some updates may be required to keep playing. We try to keep the app available but do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Code Stack Studio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, progress or virtual items, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your licence if you breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with its "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the courts of India, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
